I was intending visiting the Newark Air Museum in Nottinghamshire during November but one of the Trustees of the Museum made a better offer. There was to be a 'Die-Cast & Model Sale' held at the Museum on the 8th December and the Trustee also arranged to hold a mini get together for any of the Northern contributors to the ‘Historic Aviation’ forum on the on-line Key Publishing Ltd Aviation Forum with mince-pies and hot drinks provided as well. It was an enjoyable, if long, day out for me which got a bit hectic towards the end as I was rushing around trying to spot and capture the sunset shots before the museum closed and/or my camera battery ran out. As I was shooting into the sun, I gave the ‘AUTO HDR’ feature on the camera a bit of a go to see if it could enhance the detail in the shadows. These are all ‘AUTO HDR’ images in the order they were shot.
