Golden Apple Operations Ltd are a registered charity part of who’s remit is the restoration and exhibition for public education of historic combat machinery and to that end operate two aircraft out of the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. An F-86A Sabre which is the world’s oldest flying jet fighter and a blue and yellow Boeing PT-17 Stearman (Kaydet) trainer. Both aircraft are looked after and maintained by the Aircraft Restoration Company.
